Short wedding gowns were the latest trend-setters at Pasarela Gaudi Novias, the bridal fashion week in Barcelona.
Designer Hannibal Laguna presented his innovative collection, featuring vaporous mini-gowns for adventurous brides. Whiter than ever, Empire style dresses and tube tops were the favourites of the show.
20's style, baroque styles and comfortable outfits for second-timers were also presented by Seville's designers Victorio & Lucchino. Their collection featured over 40 wedding gowns.
For the groom, classic dark suits were combined with bright coloured and cheerful vests.
Karl Lagerfeld opened the Gaudí catwalk for 2007 Barcelona Bridal Week, which ran from 29th May to 3rd June. Over 150 fashion firms attended the event, that transformed Barcelona into the Bridal Fashion Capital of Europe for a week.
Elie by Elie Saab and Valentino collections closed this edition, the show's most international to date.
